1. Introduction

1.1. The following are terms and conditions guiding this contract.

  • This contract is valid for one year from the date when you accept it. After that Brands have the choice to extend it further per year, or dis-continue. If Brands choose to extend it, new terms and conditions will have to be accepted, which might be different from the previous contract.
  • All influencers are partners but not employees of Influencer Hub LLC.
  • Brands provide guidance/suggestions on what, when and how to promote. Influencers choose which brands to collaborate with based on their choice and suitability.
  • The first year contract is free of cost for your Brand. That means Influencer Hub LLC will not charge any upfront fee to your Brand to use their portal. This might change in the years to follow.
  • Total payment from each brand to the influencer will incorporate an upfront payment (not for all influencers -- optional) and commission based on sale made through the influencer. Brand will give all payment to Influencer Hub LLC, and they will distribute the share of influencers to them.
  • Influencer Hub LLC will charge a fixed percentage fee on the upfront payments made to the influencer by each brand. Brands will pay all the upfront money to Influencer Hub LLC, who will distribute that to the Influencers.
  • Influencer Hub LLC will have the right to negotiate and determine commissions on behalf of the influencer. These commissions are only paid when a sale is incurred for the brand. Brands will be given an invoice bi-weekly or monthly for the commission made by Influencer Hub LLC and Influencers on the sales made through them.
  • Brands can be held responsible in court if they delay payments to Influencer Hub LLC by more than 60 days after accepting the proposal from the Influencers, or after the date of the issuance of invoice or if they refuse to pay.
  • Brands can be held responsible in court if they directly work with any Influencers on the panel of Influencer Hub LLC, in the period of the contract.
  • All personal information given out to Influencer Hub LLC by Brands is confidential and not used in any other way by Influencer Hub LLC.
  • Influencer Hub LLC shall not be held responsible in court for any mis-representation done by the Influencers, or for any loss of products done by the Influencers.
  • Brands are not allowed to promote any illegal, obscene or immoral products/services.

“The industry is ever evolving, especially the marketing side. Marketing through influencers is not a new concept; since the start influential people (actors, sportsmen, politicians, celebrities etc) have been used by brands to help them sell more. It has just gone digital now, more so it has gone to social media. Barely do we see brands spending a lot on billboards or even TV ads. They can get much more ROI through social media marketing; Influencer Hub makes sure that is easily possible with as few as 5 clicks.”

“Everyone thinks that they can manage social media accounts. That is true, everyone can – but not properly. It is not about whether or not you can manage it, it is about HOW you can manage it effectively. Brands can make a fortune through social media (specially Instagram), and brands can lose fortunes too. Managing social media accounts for a digital marketing (Affiliate marketing) agency is challenging, yet interesting. I am glad to have great support from people in my department already.’

Tips on how to choose the right influencers for your campaigns?

Before deciding which influencer will be the right fit for your brand, it is highly recommended that you browse the profiles, including the influencer´s experience, style of posts, creativity and followers before making a final choice. Try to make sure that the style of posting of a particular influencer aligns well with the kind of image your brand intends to portray to the audience. Browse through an Instagram influencer’s previous posts to get an idea of the kind of posts their followers are accustomed to.

Another point to note is that influencers who have a smaller ratio of sponsored posts to total posts are generally seen as more credible and trustworthy among their audience. Those influencers that engage their followers with something like a personal story are far more likely to actually make a follower buy the product than an influencer who just does a generic product review.

Micro-influencers are an excellent option for targeting a following base that is highly engaged with the influencers they follow. A study by Markerly revealed that influencers with fewer than 1,000 followers have a like rate of around 8%, while those with 1,000 followers to 10,000 followers have a like rate of about 4%.

If your brand wants to reach out to a larger audience, choose an influencer with a following of more than 10,000. An upfront payment of $0.01 per USA follower will have to be made to the influencer in this case once they accept the collaboration.
